The Afrobeats singer made the announcement on his X account sourced by Persecondnews, saying that despite being occupied with work on his forthcoming album, he would be joining the campaign train in Osun.

“Been so busy with my album n music as it should be but Tomoro we hit OSUN for @AAdeleke_01 ,” he wrote.

Davido also expressed unwavering support for the governor, insisting that he and his team were not intimidated by any political pressure.

“We no Dey fear anything, we Dey ur back, we believe in God ,” the singer added.

He ended his message with a confident re-election slogan, writing: “4+4… any intimidation nah for una back pocket.”

Davido has remained one of Governor Adeleke’s most vocal supporters, playing an active role during the 2022 governorship election that brought his uncle to power.

With Osun preparing for another governorship contest, the singer’s declaration signals his intention to once again throw his weight behind the incumbent governor’s campaign.
