In an emotional and brave revelation, Abiola Ayomide has shared the reality of her fight against cervical cancer.

The life-altering health crisis has fueled her new mission: speaking out publicly to urge other women to take charge of their well-being before it is too late.

Speaking in a video shared on Instagram obtained by Persecondnews, Ayomide recalled how her journey began with symptoms she initially did not fully understand before medical examinations confirmed she had cervical cancer.

She said receiving the diagnosis was one of the most difficult moments of her life, admitting that the news left her devastated and uncertain about what the future would hold.

According to her, the reality of living with cancer brought physical pain, emotional struggles and moments of fear as she tried to come to terms with the illness.

Ayomide explained that undergoing treatment was far from easy, describing the process as demanding but necessary in her fight to recover and regain her strength.

She urged women not to ignore unusual changes in their bodies, stressing that early detection can make a significant difference in the outcome of cervical cancer treatment.

The content creator also urged women to embrace regular medical checkups and cervical cancer screening instead of waiting until symptoms become severe.

Reflecting on her experience, she said the journey taught her resilience, faith and the importance of surrounding herself with supportive family members and friends.

Ayomide expressed gratitude to those who stood by her throughout the difficult period, noting that their encouragement helped her remain hopeful despite the challenges.

She added that speaking publicly about her diagnosis was not an easy decision but one she felt compelled to make because many women suffer in silence.

Creating awareness about cervical cancer is just as important as sharing her personal testimony, as it could encourage someone to seek medical attention before it is too late, she said.

She also appealed for more conversations about women’s health, saying stigma and fear often prevent people from seeking timely medical care.
