Premier Hotel Reopens After Major Makeover, Ashiru Hails Landmark Investment in South-West Economy

The Chairman of Odu’a Investment Company Limited, Otunba Bimbo Ashiru, has described the commissioning of the newly renovated Premier Hotel, Ibadan, as a major milestone for tourism, economic growth, and regional development in the South-West.

Ashiru said the refurbished hotel, long regarded as a symbol of hospitality, heritage, and excellence in Oyo State, represents Odu’a Investment’s commitment to revitalising strategic assets, creating jobs, and boosting economic activities across the region.

“I am delighted to join other distinguished leaders, stakeholders, and well-wishers in celebrating the commissioning of the newly renovated Premier Hotel, Ibadan, a landmark institution that has remained a symbol of hospitality, heritage, and excellence in Oyo State,” he said.

He noted that the investment underscores the company’s resolve to promote sustainable development and strengthen the region’s tourism potential.

Ashiru congratulated the Board, Management, and all stakeholders whose vision and dedication made the transformation possible, expressing confidence that the hotel would continue to serve as a beacon of excellence while contributing significantly to the prosperity of the South-West.

He also extended his congratulations to Odu’a Investment Company Limited and the people of the South-West on what he described as another landmark achievement in the region’s economic development.
