Super Eagles captain Wilfred Ndidi says the team is determined to extend their five-game unbeaten run in tonight’s friendly against Poland.

While emphasizing that securing positive results is important, Ndidi stressed that building a solid foundation for the squad’s future remains a key priority.

Under the guidance of head coach Éric Chelle, Nigeria have enjoyed a strong run of form, recording four wins and a draw in their last five outings.

The side heads into the clash in excellent form and will use the encounter to further sharpen their squad ahead of bigger challenges.

Ndidi noted the importance of balancing immediate success with long-term growth, saying:“Of course it’s about winning, but development also counts. A match against such a top rival as Poland will be a good test for our vision for the future.’

The friendly which will be played at the PGE Narodowy Stadium in Warsaw, kicks off at 7:45 pm Nigerian time.
