Nigeria’s women’s national team, the Super Falcons, have strengthened their lineup in preparation for a pair of international test matches against Cameroon, with several prominent stars reporting to the squad’s headquarters in the Cameroonian capital, Yaoundé..

Goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie, defensive stalwarts Michelle Alozie and Osinachi Ohale, plus attacker Chinwendu Ihezuo have now linked up with the group at their accommodation in the Hilton Hotel, pushing the total number of players present to 24.

This quartet is set to integrate into ongoing sessions as the side ramps up its readiness.

Prior to their arrival, team skipper Rasheedat Ajibade along with 16 fellow teammates had already checked in and completed an initial workout at the annex field of Stade Omnisport Ahmadu Ahidjo.

Additional practice is planned at the primary venue in Yaoundé to sharpen focus before the upcoming clashes.

The Super Falcons are scheduled to confront Cameroon’s Indomitable Lionesses in back-to-back friendlies staged at the Military Stadium in Yaoundé, kicking off with the opener on Saturday and wrapping up with the sequel the following Tuesday.

These encounters serve as vital tune-up opportunities for both sides as they gear up for the 14th edition of the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON), set to unfold in Morocco between March 17 and April 3, 2026.

As defending champions and holders of 10 continental crowns, Nigeria occupies Group C in the tournament draw, sharing the pool with Zambia, Egypt, and first-time qualifiers Malawi.

The Falcons launch their title defence against Malawi on March 18 in Casablanca.

Cameroon, who finished as runners-up in 2016, finds itself in Group D alongside Ghana, Mali, and Cape Verde, with their campaign opener pitted against Mali in Fes.
