In a statement released Tuesday, the DSVA confirmed it is tracking the case and has already initiated contact through various digital channels to provide immediate assistance.

The agency is currently working to pinpoint the survivor’s location to ensure her safety.

Officials are also appealing to the public for any credible information that could help them reach her directly, urging citizens to contact the DSVA via its official social media platforms.

The agency reaffirmed that the Lagos State Government maintains a zero-tolerance stance against all forms of domestic and sexual violence, stressing that survivors deserve protection, care, support and justice.

In the video, the woman detailed the profound emotional distress she has faced since the alleged assault, noting that she has already sought medical care.
