Arsenal has silenced doubters with a dominant 4-0 victory over Leeds United at Elland Road, restoring their seven-point lead at the top of the Premier League table.

The Gunners’ impressive display has reignited title hopes, with Paul Merson predicting this win could be the turning point in their quest for the championship.

Mikel Arteta’s side came into the match under pressure after a home defeat to Manchester United, but they responded with a commanding performance.

Martín Zubimendi opened the scoring in the 27th minute, heading home a corner assisted by Noni Madueke.

Leeds’ misery was compounded just before half-time when goalkeeper Karl Darlow inadvertently doubled Arsenal’s advantage with an own goal.

The home side were reeling, and Arsenal’s momentum continued into the second half.

Viktor Gyökeres netted the third goal in the 69th minute, assisted by Gabriel Martinelli’s slick cross.

Gabriel Jesus capped off the rout with a right-footed shot in the 86th minute, further frustrating the beleaguered Leeds defense.

Arsenal’s resolute defence, led by Gabriel Magalhães, was impervious to Leeds’ attacks.

The visitors’ dominance was evident, and they secured a vital win that boosts their title credentials.

Leeds, on the other hand, will need to regroup quickly as they face increasing pressure in the relegation zone.

The Gunners’ emphatic win has put them back on track, and they will look to build on this momentum.
