When fans are expecting that she would withdraw from the public eye following the tragic loss of her only child, Peju Ogunmola has instead re-emerged, radiating strength, joy, and a renewed sense of purpose.

The veteran Nollywood actress shared a glamorous photo and a short video on her Instagram page, declaring that she is “recharged and ready for the week,” adding that a recent outing reminded her why she needs to step out more and embrace life fully.

Peju’s return to public visibility comes just months after the heartbreaking death of her son, Ayomikun, in September 2025.

The young man, who passed away after a brief illness in Ibadan, had left the actress and her husband, Sunday Omobolanle (aka Papi Luwe), in deep mourning.

During that period, the couple received an outpouring of support from colleagues and friends in Nollywood, who visited their home in Ibadan to show solidarity.

Her recent public appearances—most notably her joyful participation in Sotayo Gaga’s New Year’s Eve Crossover and Thanksgiving services—showcased her dancing and celebrating life despite her recent loss.

In these moments, her radiant smile and infectious energy served as a powerful testament to her resilience.

By choosing to reclaim joy and hope, she has become a source of inspiration for fans and followers alike.

Colleagues quickly responded to her social media post with admiration, flooding the comments with brief messages of love and support, praising her courage and infectious smile.
