Amid the controversy surrounding the alleged paternity of a child linked to music star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, the singer has spoken out, insisting that he never met the child’s mother at any point until the DNA test process began.

According to Davido, there was no prior acquaintance or personal history between them before the dispute arose.

The award-winning artiste said the decision to undergo DNA testing was not taken lightly and was largely influenced by his father, who demanded absolute clarity on the matter.

Davido noted that his family does not take issues of lineage lightly and was determined to resolve the situation conclusively.

To eliminate any doubt, Davido revealed that DNA tests were conducted in five different hospitals.

He explained that he personally selected three medical facilities, while the child’s mother chose two of her own, ensuring that the process was transparent and free from manipulation.

“All the results came back negative,” Davido disclosed, adding that the multiple tests were meant to provide finality and prevent further controversy.

Frustrated by the ongoing saga, Davido described the public scrutiny as both unnecessary and emotionally draining.

He declared that this statement would be his final public comment on the matter.

While he criticized the “irresponsible actions” of those involved, the singer was careful to state he holds no resentment toward the child, whom he called an innocent party.

He, however, struck a firm note on the issue of integrity, calling for accountability regarding the false claims made against him.
