Prince Odi Okojie, the husband of Nollywood actress Mercy Johnson, has broken his silence amid swirling rumours about alleged infidelity, firmly shutting down claims of trouble in their marriage with a public show of unity.

Speculation had erupted online after a blog alleged that the politician was involved with side chicks and had allegedly impregnated one of them.

The report further claimed that the situation caused tension in the Johnson-Okojie household, sparking reactions on social media.

In what appeared to be a swift response to the allegations, Mercy took to her Instagram page to share loved-up photos with her husband.

Captioning the post with a light but pointed message, the actress suggested she was unfazed by the rumours, hinting that she was wide awake while others were restless.

Prince Okojie also joined his wife in dismissing the claims, sharing a loved-up video of the couple together at their daughter Angel’s 10th birthday celebration.

The video showed the pair smiling, relaxed, and affectionate, a move many fans interpreted as a clear statement that their marriage remains intact.

The couple’s response comes months after they celebrated their 14th wedding anniversary in August.

At the time, Mercy reflected on their journey together, describing her husband as her friend and strength while crediting God for sustaining their union.

She recalled how many people doubted their marriage at the beginning but said divine grace had kept them together despite repeated attempts to destabilise their home.
