AFCON 2025: Super Eagles Camp Swells to 26 Players

The Super Eagles’ camp in Cairo has swelled to 26 players following the arrival of winger Samuel Chukwueze on Tuesday.

The Nigerian national team is currently undergoing final preparations in Egypt ahead of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.

Since the camp officially opened on Sunday at the Renaissance Hotel, several key figures have reported for duty, including the goalkeeping trio of Francis Uzoho, Stanley Nwabali, and Amas Obasogie.

The attacking lineup is getting stronger, with Ademola Lookman, Paul Onuachu, Cyril Dessers, and Akor Adams already in camp, intensifying competition for places in the final squad.

Striker Victor Osimhen and winger Moses Simon are still expected to join the team soon, as they conclude their club commitments.

Here is the full list of 26 players in camp:

– Goalkeepers: Francis Uzoho, Stanley Nwabali, Amas Obasogie

– Defenders: Semi Ajayi, Bright Osayi-Samuel, Igho Ogbu, Tochukwu Nnadi, Zaidu Sanusi, Calvin Bassey, Chidozie Awaziem, Bruno Onyemaechi, Ryan Alebiosu
