Nigerian international Moses Simon scored the decisive goal as Paris FC secured a 1-0 victory over AS Monaco in Ligue 1 action on Saturday.
Simon, making his 11th appearance for Paris FC this season, has now scored three goals and registered two assists.
The only goal of the match came in the 53rd minute, when French midfielder Maxime Lopez delivered a perfect pass into the six-yard box, allowing Simon to tap the ball home.
This marked Paris FC’s second league win of the campaign, while Monaco suffered their third loss of the season, ending their four-game unbeaten run.
Monaco had dominated possession throughout the first half but failed to create clear-cut chances.
Paris FC’s resolute defence kept Monaco at bay, setting the stage for Simon’s decisive strike.
The result sees Paris FC climb into the top half of the Ligue 1 table, while Monaco will look to bounce back from this defeat.
