Tension as Trump Warns of Military Action Over Alleged Christian Killings in Nigeria

United States President Donald Trump has warned of possible military action against Nigeria over what he described as “widespread killing of Christians” in the country.

In a post on his social-media platform, Trump claimed Christianity faces “an existential threat in Nigeria” and ordered the U.S. Defence Department to “prepare options” should the Nigerian government fail to stop the alleged attacks, adding that American aid could be suspended immediately.
