Just In: Nonagenarian Dr. Christopher Kolade Exits

Ex-Nigeria’s High Commissioner to UK, veteran broadcaster, author and elder statesman, Dr Christopher Kolade is dead.

Aged 92, the news of his death was announced by his family on Thursday with an heartfelt statement.

He was said to have passed away peacefully, on Wednesday.

The family expressed their appreciation to God for his life and his impact while alive.

“We are thankful for his incredible life of faith and service, and are grateful for God’s abundant blessings,” the statement read in part.

Kolade was known as a diplomat and one-time Director General of the Nigerian Broadcasting Corporation (NBC) and CEO of Cadbury Ltd.
