Just in: Tinubu Seeks Senate Confirmation for NERC Chairman

President Bola Tinubu has forwarded a letter to the Senate seeking the confirmation of Engr. Abdullahi Ramat as the Chairman/CEO of the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC).

The letter was read at the resumption of plenary on Tuesday, October 7, by the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio.

Persecondnews reports that the President had, on August 8, nominated Engr. Ramat as the Chairman/CEO of NERC.

Ramat, 39, is an electrical engineer and administrator with a PhD in Strategic Management, among other qualifications.
