Following his confrontation at the Abuja airport on Tuesday, the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has petitioned the Attorney-General of the Federation (AGF) and the Inspector-General of Police (IGP) to prosecute Fuji icon Wasiu Ayinde, known as K1 De Ultimate.

NCAA spokesman Michael Achimugu stated that Ayinde’s actions, specifically his attempt to block a moving ValueJet aircraft, violated the Nigeria Civil Aviation Regulations (Nig. CARs) 2023.

The letter to the AGF and IGP calls for a “comprehensive criminal investigation and the initiation of appropriate prosecution” to enforce these regulations.
