In a heartwarming display of support for Nigerian sports excellence, Jedo Investment Company Ltd, a renowned estate developing company, has generously gifted plots of land to two of Nigeria’s finest footballers: Super Falcons’ goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie and reigning Africa Player of the Year, Ademola Lookman.
Each player received 400 square meters of land within the prestigious Jedo Mega Estate in Ushafa, Abuja, Persecondnews reports.
This generous gesture highlights Jedo Investment’s commitment to empowering Nigerian talent.
According to Anthony Onwuma, General Manager (Human and Business Relations) at Jedo Investment, Nnadozie’s “efforts not only helped secure the championship but also served as a shining example of dedication and excellence for millions of Nigerians and football lovers around the world,” referencing her outstanding performance at the 13th Women Africa Cup of Nations.
Nnadozie, the reigning Africa Goalkeeper of the Year, and Lookman, the reigning Africa Player of the Year, have been recognized for their exceptional contributions to Nigerian football.
Both players have been offered the position of Brand Ambassador for Jedo Investment Company, further solidifying their partnership.
This initiative is part of Jedo’s broader commitment to sports development in Nigeria.
The company is currently handling the FIFA 3.0 Programme, which includes the construction of a 68-room players’ hostel and new training pitches at the MKO Abiola National Stadium in Abuja.
This project, funded by FIFA’s Forward 3.0 Programme, aims to provide world-class facilities for Nigerian athletes.
“We are proud to support these talented individuals and contribute to the growth of sports in Nigeria,” Onwuma added.
Nnadozie and Lookman have expressed their gratitude for the gift, promising to continue representing Jedo Investment with excellence and dedication.
This partnership between Jedo Investment and Nigerian sports stars is set to inspire a new generation of athletes and further cement Jedo’s reputation as a champion of Nigerian talent.
