Oleksandr Usyk has once again reaffirmed his status as a boxing genius, delivering a masterful and dominant performance to defeat Daniel Dubois and reclaim his undisputed heavyweight title.

The Ukrainian legend dominated the fight from the opening bell, boxing Dubois’s ears off and unleashing a flurry of counter-punchers that left the Englishman reeling.

Dubois, who had built up additional muscle since their first fight two years ago, was unable to cope with Usyk’s superior technique and power.

Despite his best efforts, he was reduced to a sprawling, bumbling wreck on the floor, unable to mount a credible challenge to the master boxer.

The referee stopped the fight in the fifth round, with Dubois having gone down twice, and Usyk was declared the winner by technical knockout.

The 90,000-strong crowd at Wembley Stadium was electrified by the action, singing along to boxing’s anthem “Sweet Caroline” before the fight to ease the tension.

Despite the rain that had fallen earlier in the day, the atmosphere was electric, with the crowd showing their appreciation for Usyk’s skill and sportsmanship.

“Thirty-eight is not old,” Usyk said after the fight. “I love you Wembley and I’ll be back.”

Usyk’s victory means he remains the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world, with no more titles to add to his collection.

However, he has already set his sights on his next challenge, potentially facing Tyson Fury for a trilogy fight, as well as Derek Chisora and Joseph Parker.

For Dubois, there’s no shame in defeat by such a legend, and he will likely return to the drawing board to rebuild and plan his next move.
