Senate Strips Akpoti-Uduaghan of Committee Chair Over Alleged Misconduct

Respite remains elusive for embattled Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan following Senate President Godswill Akpabio’s decision to remove her as the Chair of the Senate Committee on Diaspora and NGOs.

With this latest development, Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan, who was previously stripped of the Local Content Committee chairmanship in February, will now serve as a senator without any committee chairmanship.

Akpabio replaced her with Sen. Aniekan Bassey (Akwa Ibom North East).
