The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has carried out a series of precision air strikes targeting terrorists behind recent attacks in Niger state.

The strikes, which occurred from June 24 to 26, 2025, were carried out in support of ground troops following credible intelligence on terrorist activities in the area.

According to Ehimen Ejodame, the NAF Director of Public Relations in a statement on Friday, the operation demonstrated NAF’s professionalism, rapid response capability, and strong coordination with ground forces and other agencies.

The NAF identified terrorist activities involving attacks and cattle rustling in Kakihun and Kumbashi communities of Niger state.

Swiftly deploying air assets, the Air Component executed multiple waves of precision strikes that neutralized scores of terrorists, destroyed their logistics, and disrupted regrouping efforts.
