The Managing Director/CEO of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Dr. Abubakar Dantsoho, has said the One-Stop-Shop (OSS) initiative of the agency has exceeded its projected annual target since its inception in October 2024.
The One-Stop Shop (OSS), coordinated by the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), is successfully streamlining the sale and distribution of petroleum products in Naira.
According to Dantsoho, the initiative has already managed over 57 vessels monthly, exceeding initial volume projections.

“Dangote was looking at 600 vessels per annum, and that target has been surpassed,” he said during a meeting with Aliko Dangote, President of the Dangote Group.
Dangote’s visit was to show appreciation for the establishment of the OSS, which has been coordinated by the NPA under the guidance of relevant government agencies.
He commended the OSS for its significant contributions to energy security and sustainability, highlighting the ports’ role in providing seamless logistics support.
The NPA boss acknowledged the strong support of the Minister of Blue Marine, Adegboyega Oyetola, Minister of Finance Mr. Wale Edun and Chairman of the FIRS Mr. Zacch Adedeji, who has ensured the provision of all necessary resources to drive the project’s success.
“The project’s achievements reflect effective collaboration among stakeholders and reinforce its potential to further enhance operational efficiency in the sector,” Dantsoho said.
The OSS initiative has brought about efficiency in transactions and operations within Nigerian government agencies.
