The Super Eagles of Nigeria have advanced to the final of the 2025 Unity Cup after a thrilling 2-1 win over Ghana’s Black Stars on Wednesday night in London.

Two first-half goals proved decisive in the entertaining Jollof Derby, with Cyril Dessers opening the scoring in the 15th minute.

Razak Simpson’s own goal in the 21st minute after a brilliant play from Wilfred Ndidi doubled Nigeria’s lead, giving them a comfortable advantage heading into the second half.

Ghana pulled one back through Ebenezer Annan’s goal in the 70th minute, but the Super Eagles’ defence, marshaled by Ogbu and Ajayi, held firm to secure the win.

The midfield duo of Ndidi and Onyeka provided crucial support, while Dessers and Chukwueze led the attack with flair.

Persecondnews reports that with this win, Nigeria will face Jamaica in the final on Saturday.
