Nollywood star and mother of two, Adunni Ade, has come out swinging against a viral report falsely quoting her as lamenting her single status despite being “blessed with beauty that opens doors.”

In a fiery post on her official Facebook page, the actress made it emphatically clear that she neither granted such an interview, nor did she make any such statements attributed to her by controversial media platform, Instablog, Persecondnews reports.

“I was enjoying a peaceful weekend with my children when I received a call from my manager regarding a misleading article published by Instablog,” she wrote.

“I want to clarify that I did not participate in that interview and have no connection to the false claims made in that publication.”

Taking a direct jab at the platform, Adunni declared her intention to use Instablog as a cautionary example of how misinformation thrives in the digital space—particularly on Facebook, where she says many users “accept information at face value.”

“It has been suggested that individuals on Facebook are particularly difficult to persuade, as they tend to accept information at face value, meaning a lot believe everything they see and read,” she stated.

Undeterred by online drama, Adunni firmly reiterated her core priorities: her career and her children. She made it clear she had no time for manufactured controversies or chasing fame.

“I recognize that I may be the subject of criticism, hate and falsehoods for various reasons… but seeking attention or ‘clout’ has never been my intention,” she asserted.
