Ojodu-Berger Building Update: Rescue Teams Pull Out Five Survivors

Five people have so far been rescued from the rubble of the four-storey building which collapsed in Lagos on Saturday.

The building which accommodates a popular restaurant on Oremeta Street in the Ojodu-Berger area of Lagos, collapsed at about 8.10 am.

Speaking with journalists at the scene, the Permanent Secretary, Dr. Damilola Oke-Osanyitolu the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), said searchers would get to ground zero for other victims still buried under the rubble.

No casualties has been recorded as of the time of this report.

The popular restaurant – Equal Rights restaurant – is a relaxation spot where many young people watch football.
