Suspended Rivers Gov. Fubara Breaks Silence with First Public Outing After State of Emergency.

968

Suspended Rivers State Gov. Siminalayi Fubara made his first public appearance on Sunday, attending a church service at Salvation Ministries in Port Harcourt, and effectively putting an end to speculations about his whereabouts.

The governor was warmly welcomed by a senior pastor in the church.

In a notable departure from traditional protocol, Fubara attended the church service with a lean convoy, conspicuously absent of the official flag or seal typically associated with the governor’s office, Persecondnews reports.

Despite the ongoing controversy surrounding his suspension, Fubara appeared composed and serene during his church visit, flashing warm smiles as he participated in the service, his demeanour betraying no visible signs of distress or anxiety.
