Breaking: Military personnel storm Ikeja Electric headquarters, assault workers

A group of military personnel stormed the Ikeja Electricity Distribution Company headquarters in Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos, on Thursday morning, reportedly due to a power outage.

The personnel forcibly gained entry to the building, located opposite MITV in Ikeja, at approximately 7:40 am.

Persecondnews learnt that similar occurrence took place at the Ikeja Electric office on Ago Palace Way, Okota, Isolo, Lagos.

A viral video captured military personnel brandishing weapons on the premises, with over seven staff members forced to kneel, while others were physically assaulted.

This development occurred just a day after Ikeja Electric cut off power supply to the Nigerian Air Force’s Logistics Base in Ikeja.
