Salah’s contributions in this match were nothing short of historic, pushing his season totals to an astonishing 25 goals and 16 assists in the Premier League alone.
Salah became the first player in Premier League history to reach 30 goal involvements (goals plus assists) in fewer than 20 appearances, achieving the milestone in just 18 games this season.
His strike against City also marked his ninth game of the campaign with both a goal and an assist, surpassing his own record for the most such performances in a single season.
The 32-year-old now has 180 Premier League goals, placing him sixth on the competition’s all-time scoring list, just four shy of Sergio Aguero’s mark for overseas players.
His 82 assists also rank him joint-10th alongside David Beckham, with the prospect of climbing even higher as the season progresses.
