The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd) has announced the successful conclusion of its recent recruitment drive.

In a statement issued by the Chief Corporate Communications Officer Mr. Olufemi Soneye on Monday, the national oil company expressed satisfaction with the process and encouraged unsuccessful applicants to consider future opportunities.

“NNPC Ltd is delighted to announce the successful conclusion of its recruitment exercise, which was conducted with utmost fairness, transparency, and rigour, and is highly regarded as one of the best in the country,” Soneye said.

He added that successful candidates will receive their appointment letters, while expressing gratitude to all applicants who participated in the process.

Persecondnews recalls that in August 2024 during the commencement of the recruitment process, Soneye reassured that the recruitment exercise was based purely on merit, with no room for godfatherism.

“Since 2000, when we began significant intake of graduate trainees, our guiding principle has always been merit. The records are available for anyone to verify,” he said.

He noted that NNPC Ltd is committed to fostering a talented workforce and urged those who were not selected this time to remain engaged and apply for future positions.

Under the leadership of GCEO Mele Kyari, Soneye said that all hiring methods, screening processes, tests, and interviews adhere to world-class practices, ensuring merit and transparency.

“We are hopeful that those who were not selected this time will look forward to future opportunities with NNPC Ltd,” he said.
