The Federal Capital Territory Football Association (FCT FA) has announced the composition of its six standing committees aimed at strengthening football development, governance, and innovation in the region.

In a statement on Monday signed by the FA Chairman Adam Mohammed, he said the committees will serve as the backbone of the association’s strategic operations, ensuring effective management and sustainable growth of football in the FCT.

The newly constituted committees include the Technical and Development Committee, chaired by Bassey Patrick, and the Competitions and Events Committee, chaired by Salihu Kolo.

Others include the Finance and Sponsorship Committee, chaired by Dr. John Gabaya; the Media and Public Relations Committee, chaired by Uche Nwudoh; the Ethics and Disciplinary Committee, chaired by Hashimu Adams; and the Women’s Committee, chaired by Pat Ajuma.

Each committee has been carefully composed to include individuals with the expertise, passion, and commitment needed to drive football development to greater heights.

Mohammed said the inauguration of the standing committees reaffirmed the association’s dedication to making football in the FCT a model for other regions.
