The Nigerian Armed Forces have made a remarkable impact at the ongoing African Military Games (AMG) in Abuja, securing a total of 17 medals on Day Three of the competition.

The team’s impressive performance has seen them clinch 7 gold, 6 silver, and 4 bronze medals so far.

In the wrestling events, the Nigerian team excelled, winning 5 gold medals in women’s wrestling.

The men’s Greco-Roman wrestling team also put up a strong performance, securing 6 silver medals and 4 bronze medals.

Persecondnews reports that the wins have significantly boosted Nigeria’s overall medal tally.

The Nigerian team also made a clean sweep in the handball events, winning two gold medals by defeating Ghana in the finals of both the men’s and women’s events.

This victory has further solidified Nigeria’s position as a force to be reckoned with in the African Military Games.

In the men’s football event, Nigeria suffered a narrow 1-0 loss to Cameroon.

However, the team still has a chance to claim the bronze medal when they face Equatorial Guinea, who lost 2-0 to Algeria, in the third-place match at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja on Saturday.
