The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Mr. Nyesom Wike, has approved the appointment of Mr. Olalere James Olayinka as the Senior Special Assistant on Public Communication and New Media, effective immediately.
Mr. Anthony Ogunleye, the Director of Press, signed a statement announcing Olayinka’s appointment, describing him as a seasoned media and communications professional with over 20 years of experience in journalism, public relations, and media management.
He has held a wide range of roles in both the public and private sectors.
“As Senior Special Assistant on Public Communication and New Media, Mr. Olayinka will oversee the development of communication strategies to improve public awareness of government activities and facilitate stronger engagement between the FCT Administration and the public,” the statement said.
