Estranged wife of actor Yul Edochie, May, has caused a stir with the celebration of her birthday, as she confidently embraced her new age and shared stunning photos on social media.

Celebrating her special day, Edochie showed that she was unbothered by the recent marital issues between her and Yul.

The family has been embroiled in crisis since her husband welcomed a child from his new wife, Danielle.

Speaking about her big day and how she felt, May reflected on her journey, expressing gratitude for being born on this day and celebrating another year of life with fans and well-wishers, including notable figures like Obi Cubana, Rita Edochie, and Omawumi, flooding her comment section with heartfelt birthday wishes and support.

However, the actress wasn’t done celebrating, hours later, she posted more photos from her birthday shoot, this time wearing a striking red dress.

Accompanying the photos, she declared herself “crowned in grace, dressed in elegance, and destined for greatness.”

In her words: “I present again Queen May Yul Edochie. Thanking God for an additional year.”

This declaration came shortly after her daughter, Danielle Edochie, made waves on social media with a shady birthday tribute to her mother.

In what many interpreted as a dig at Yul Edochie’s second wife, Danielle praised May for being “the original and the first before anyone else.”

She went on to describe her mother as “the overall blessed and God’s favourite,” adding a pointed challenge to others: “Do it if it was easy.”

Danielle’s post sparked mixed reactions online.

While many rallied behind her, praising her loyalty to her mother, others criticised her for getting involved in her parents’ public drama.
