Breaking: #EndBadGovernance protesters denied bail, sent to Kuje prison

Justice Emeka Nwite, of the Federal High Court in Abuja, has ordered the remand of #EndBadGovernance protesters at Kuje Correctional Centre until September 11, 2024, pending a hearing and determination of their bail application.

The judge scheduled the next hearing for Monday, following the defendants’ not-guilty pleas to the six-count charge bordering on terrorism brought against them by the Federal Government.

The defendants, charged with treasonable felony and plotting to destabilize the country.

Persecondnews reports that there were heightened security protocols in and around the court.
