AFCON 2025 Qualifier: Super Eagles camp opens on Sept. 1 for Benin, Rwanda games

The Super Eagles will open camp for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against the Cheetahs of Benin Republic and Amavubi of Rwanda on Sunday, September 1.

The three-time African championships will welcome neighbouring Benin Republic to the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo, on Saturday, September 7.

According to Persecondnews, the Super Eagles will face Rwanda three days later at the newly renovated Amahoro Stadium in Kigali.

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) is yet to name a substantive head coach for the Super Eagles.

The list of invited players for the qualifiers is also yet to be made public, but the Technical Director of the NFF, Augustine Eguavoen, is in line to lead the team for the two games.
