Nigeria’s 4x400m quartet ran a season best of of 2.59.81 but got disqualified for stepping on the line in their heat.

Persecondnews reports Nigeria will no longer compete in the final of men’s 4x400m by the disqualification.

Meanwhile, two other African teams – Bostwana and Zambia – will be representing the continent in the final, with the prospect of winning medals for their respective countries.
