United States runner Quincy Hall won the gold medal in the men’s 400m dash, while Nigeria’s Samuel Ogazi finished 7th in the race with yet another sub 45s in the final, clocking 44.73s.

Hall trailed early, but a spectacular straightaway dash allowed him to catch Hudson-Smith, who finished second with a European record of 43.44s.

Nigeria’s Samuel Ogazi has given a good account of himself in Paris, finishing 7th in the race with yet another sub 45s in the 400m, clocking 44.73s.
