A three-member panel of the Abuja Appeal Court has upheld the election of Gov. Usman Ododo as the duly elected governor of Kogi State.

The Social Democratic Party (SDP) and its gubernatorial candidate, Mr. Murtala Ajaka, filed a petition, which the court dismissed.

The appeal court rejected the appellants’ claims, ruling that they failed to provide convincing proof and reliable evidence to support their accusations of electoral fraud, voter suppression, and certificate forgery.
