Abuja Banex Plaza reopened as military bows to pressure

Following a recent shutdown of Banex Plaza, a popular marketplace in the Wuse 2 area of Abuja, the military has now lifted the restriction on the complex after about 10 days.

On Monday, the market opened at 2:30 p.m., enabling traders to resume their businesses.

According to Persecondnews, military authorities sealed the market on May 18 after a violent altercation between traders and military personnel.
