The talented actress, while speaking with Per Second News, said she sees her AMVCA win as a springboard for further achievements in the industry and beyond, as she hinted at taking her career to the next level.

In the wake of her success, Bankole articulated her ambition to explore uncharted territories and elevate her craft to unprecedented heights.

“It is time to unlock new levels,” she asserts, signaling her unwavering commitment to personal and professional growth.
With her eyes set on the future, Bankole emphasized the importance of pushing boundaries and expanding artistic horizons.

At the heart of Bankole’s vision lies a dedication to storytelling that resonates with audiences worldwide.

According to her, her performance in “Adire” serves as a testament to her ability to breathe life into characters and narratives that leave an indelible mark on viewers’ hearts and minds.

Bankole’s win not only reaffirms her status as a leading figure in the Nigerian film industry but also underscores the power of cinema as a transformative medium for storytelling.

This development, according to her, will further push out more compelling stories that will not just transform lives but also help people be bold enough to tell their stories the way they feel.

“Movies have the ability to reach many people and share important messages with the world,” she affirmed.

“There are many stories to be told. This award means the next level to me. It means that I want to keep doing the work and look forward to unlocking new levels. We are telling stories that resonate with the world and humanity.”

Asked if Nollywood is doing enough to tell stories that resonate with the people and mirror the challenges plaguing society.

Bankole said: “We are doing the work. We will find more stories, and we will tell them. I am grateful to everybody who has hired me, my family, colleagues, and everybody who has contributed to my success.

“Movies are one of the fastest ways to reach many people because they have a lot of things they want to tell or share with the world,” she added.
