President Bola Tinubu has officially resumed duties at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, the nation’s seat of power, a day after returning from his two-week foreign trips.
The Presidency released a 28-second video of the President taking a walk from his official residence to his office, flanked by his security team, Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, and other aides.
Persecondnews had earlier reported that Tinubu returned to Abuja, the nation’s capital, on Wednesday morning after working visits to the Netherlands and Saudi Arabia.
Top government officials, including his Chief of Staff, Gbajabiamila, received the President when his plane – the Nigeria Air Force 1 – touched down at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, about 1.45 a.m.
On April 23, Tinubu left Abuja for an official visit to the Kingdom of the Netherlands at the invitation of Prime Minister Mark Rutte.
While in the Netherlands, Tinubu held discussions with prominent Dutch officials, including separate meetings with King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima.
