President Bola Tinubu returned to Abuja, the nation’s capital, on Wednesday morning after a two-week working visit to the Netherlands and Saudi Arabia.
Top government officials, including his Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, received the President when his plane, the Nigeria Air Force 1, touched down at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, at about 1.45 a.m.
On April 23, Tinubu left Abuja for an official visit to the Kingdom of the Netherlands at the invitation of Prime Minister Mark Rutte.
While in the Netherlands, Tinubu held discussions with prominent Dutch officials, including separate meetings with King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima.
On April 28 and 29, President Tinubu travelled to Saudi Arabia to attend a special World Economic Forum meeting in Riyadh.
The forum, which has as its theme, “Global Collaboration, Growth, and Energy for Development,” was attended by leaders from various sectors, and they deliberated on global development strategies.
President Tinubu had departed Saudi Arabia for London on a private visit before returning to Abuja on Wednesday morning.
