Breaking: CBN sells $10,000 to BDCs at N1,101/$

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) on Monday announced the sale of dollars to Bureau de Change operators.

In a statement signed by Dr. W.J. Kanya and uploaded to the apex bank’s website, it said it is set to sell $10,000 to each BDC at N1101/$ and direct the operators to sell at a spread not more than “1.5 percent above the CBN rate.”

According to Persecondnews, the apex bank has urged all BDC operators to continue to abide by the stipulated rules and conditions.
