Just in: Alleged money laundering: Bobrisky arrives in Lagos court for arraignment

Famous cross-dresser, Idris Okuneye, aka Bobrisky, has arrived at the Federal High Court in Lagos for arraignment on money laundering and naira abuse allegation.

Persecondnews recalls that the anti-graft agency, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has detained Bobrisky at its Ikoyi office since Wednesday.

It has filed a six-count charge against him bordering on money laundering and abuse of the naira.

The vacation judge, Justice Abimbola Awogboro, is expected to take Bobrisky’s plea.

The 31-year-old cross-dresser was invited by the EFCC following a video report of him spraying and flaunting wads of crisp new naira notes at the premiere of a movie, Ajakaju, produced by Eniola Ajao, a Nollywood actress and producer, at Film One Circle Mall, Lekki, Lagos on March 24, 2024.
