Nollywood actor Yemi Blaq has expressed his thoughts on the trending topic of male promiscuity and the need for discipline in navigating such tendencies.

Acknowledging the inherent nature of men being drawn to temptations, Blaq stressed the critical role of self-restraint in ensuring fidelity and integrity in relationships.

Blaq, while featuring in a podcast anchored by actress Biola Bayo, noted that while men may inevitably encounter stimuli that incite temptation, exercising moderation is paramount.

He said the sight of a modestly dressed woman may not provoke the same allure as that of a woman with revealing attire flaunting all her features, highlighting the delicate balance between natural instincts and ethical conduct.

However, Blaq was quick to clarify that his stance does not condone infidelity or the objectification of women.

Rather, he advocated a mutual responsibility, asserting that men must uphold discipline while women should strive for decency in their public appearances.

“Men, for me, should be careful and decent. You can’t always go all out to misbehave because nature permits such tendencies, but I advocate decency and moderation in all we do.

“The ladies as well must be cautious and dress decently to avoid being dragged into such a net of being vulnerable because of what they wear or how they appear,” he said.
