Nollywood actor Funsho Adeolu has stirred controversy by questioning the financial sources of wealth among some of his female colleagues.
Adeolu asserted that he commands higher fees per role compared to many Nollywood actresses, yet he finds it perplexing that they flaunt extravagant lifestyles beyond their movie earnings.
Expressing his bewilderment, Adeolu highlighted the apparent dissonance between the earnings from acting and the lavish lifestyles some actresses portray.
“They can’t say they only make money from acting in movies to fund their lifestyle,” he remarked, pointing out discrepancies between their ostentatious displays and their actual earnings.
Furthermore, Adeolu pondered the ostensible incongruity of some actresses driving luxury vehicles while purportedly earning less than him per movie.
He suggested that their lifestyle might have been sustained with other means beyond acting earnings, hinting at a disconnect between their public image and financial realities.
