Pres.Tinubu returns to Abuja after two-day visit to Qatar

After a two-day official visit to Qatar at the invitation of Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir, President Bola Tinubu has returned to Abuja.

Tinubu, who arrived at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja about 6:37 p.m.,was received by Vice President Kashim Shettima and other top government officials.

Other dignitaries include Mr. Femi Gbajabiamila, the President’s Chief of Staff; Chief Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT); Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, the National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC); and Yusuf Bichi, the Director General of the Department of State Service (DSS).

Persecondnews reports that the President had attended the Nigeria-Qatar Business and Investment Forum and met with Sheikh Al Thani, the country’s top official, while he was in the capital city of Doha.

Tinubu saw the signing of numerous bilateral agreements pertaining to the vital industries of education, business development, investment promotion, youth empowerment, mining, tourism, and sports during the meeting between the Qatari authorities and the Nigerian government.

He also assured the Qatari business community of his administration’s determination to make Nigeria the world’s top investment destination while discussing the enormous investment opportunities in the country with an almost unbelievable return on investment during the business/investment forum.
