Burna Boy, the acclaimed Nigerian artist Damini Ogulu, is on the verge of making history as the first African artist to take the stage in a live performance at the Grammy Awards.

The ‘African Giant’ vocalist was revealed in the lineup alongside Luke Combs and Travis Scott in a post shared on their ‘X’ handle: “Attention: African Giant @BurnaBoy will take the #GRAMMYs stage on Sunday, February 4 at 8 PM ET or 5 PM PT on @CBS.”

Other performers earlier announced include Olivia Rodrigo, Billie Eilish, and Dua Lipa.
