Addressing the dichotomy between his onstage persona and personal preferences, Asake admitted to occasional shyness before the camera, preferring to let his music take center stage while he stays in the background.

However, he acknowledged the unavoidable impact of financial aspirations, saying, “the love of money will not let me rest. I had to come out and show the people what I can do, so I can make money.”

Asake’s perspective on life and success shines through in his statement: “Life is all about your perspective. What you see, others don’t see, that’s why you just have to do it and show the people what you saw they didn’t see.”

With a Grammy nomination under his belt and a steadily rising career, Asake said he wants to remain a musical force to be reckoned with, driven by his passion and the pursuit of success on his terms.
