N300m donation for Mr. Ibu’s medical treatment: Police arrest sons, daughter

A famous actress, Doris Ogala, stated this on her Instagram page that the siblings are being held at the Alagbon police station in Lagos.

Stella Maris, Mr Ibu’s wife, allegedly accused Jasmine and her stepbrothers of withdrawing 300 million naira from the dedicated account for Mr. Ibu’s donations.

It was gathered that the wife of the Nollywood star was planning to use the money to purchase a new home for herself and is believed to have masterminded the arrests.

Doris elaborated that subsequent to their arrest, police investigations revealed that the total contributions did not amount to 300 million naira.

“Jasmine and Ibu’s sons were arrested at Alagbon Police Station. They are detained there. Ibu’s wife alleged that Jasmine moved 300 million out of the account Ibu’s wife allegedly wanted them to buy her new house from the money contributed so far for Ibu’s treatments.

“That’s why she arrested Jasmine. But investigation states that the money contributed isn’t even up to 300 million,” Ogala wrote.
