Uzodimma declared winner of Imo guber poll with 540,308 votes

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Gov.Hope Uzodimma, winner of Saturday’s governorship poll.

INEC’s state Returning Officer, Prof. Abayomi Fasina, said Uzodimma secured 540,308 votes.

The candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, Sen. Samuel Anyanwu, came second with 71,503 votes.

The candidate of Labour Party, Sen. Athan Achonu came third with 64, 081 votes
